Borovets Summer Walking and Hiking

The Rila Mountains surrounding Borovets offer numerous opportunities for walking - from ramblers looking for gentle 2 or 3 hour trips to experienced hikers wanting more of a challenge. We have many routes to suit all tastes - and all with an experienced mountain guide to show you the way (or without if you prefer, in which case we will provide all the maps you need).

We offer 14 routes over 3 levels of difficulty. Prices are per person.

Easy Routes

13	Gerginista	After transferring to the town of Dolna Banya a beautiful walk along the bottom of the valley to the Gerginista hut.	5km	1h 30m	820m	£6

18	The Black Rock	The Black Rock is a granite rock formation approx 130m high above the valley of the suhu marista river. It has some of the best views in the mountains and is an ideal starter walk !	4km	3h 00m	950m	£8
