Ihtiman Golf Course

Location and Facilities

Ihtiman Golf Course is one of the few public courses currently open in Bulgaria. The course is set in idyllic surroundings about 50km south-east of sofia, and about a 20 minute drive north-east of Borovets.

The 18-hole course is rated by the rating committee of the USGA as a par 71, with a slope of 131m from the white tees. Facilities offered by the club are excellent, with a driving range, teaching room, putting & chipping green, and two club houses providing a bar and restaurant.

As of July 2006, the following prices applied (approximate conversion from Bulgarian Leva prices);

• 18-hole green fee : £16 (Mon-Thu), £21 (Fri-Sun)
• Club hire : £4
• Buggy hire : £9
• Trolley hire : £3
